Poems

Luring me

Could it be that the wilderness is after me

Calling me to come near

Singing to my soul with its seductive song

Could it be that it’s singing louder

My back is turned

My mind has been made up

Yet, every nerve wants to go back

Edging me towards its wild nature

Daring me to taste its bitterness

If I could split from the pressure I would

Would fall in two different versions of me

You sing your sound; I hear it like a love song

You are my wilderness and you see me

You see the facade I put on

Pretending is easier then it seems

You see me

Even when I don’t even see me
