Burden

There are things that go unsaid

Moments that are relived

Hearts that never heal

Eyes that never shed a tear

Souls filled with sorrow

Others filled with hate

Yes, we carry our own burdens

We haul them around like a piece of jewelry tied around our necks.

How you ask?

How do you not collapse from the restraint?

The answer is plain and simple, really.

We push away the ones that notice

The ones who actually care about our being

We torture them with words that makes them feel less then dirt

Yea, we are cowards

We rather hurt alone then let someone help us cope.

All because it’s our own burden to bare for better or worst.
